Isle of Mull is known for its waterfront and spas, and entices visitors with popular attractions including Ben More and Ross of Mull Historical Centre.
"The hotel is located in a lovely spot in Inveraray. The room we had was very clean, tidy and comfortable. There was sufficient parking bays available. The breakfast at the hotel was delicious and there was a lot of choice on the menu. The hotel is situated about 10min walk from the centre of Inveraray. There are some lovely shops, places to eat and things to see in Inveraray. I would recommend the Loch Fyne Hotel and Spa as a place to stay when visiting Inveraray. "
"Lovely stay and enjoyed the spa facilities. We ate in the bar area as we had our dog and the staff were very welcoming. The Mull scallops were delicious as was the whisky and marmalade ice cream.
Great dog walking area with interesting wood carvings on the route.
Would definitely stay again if in the area. "
"Cottages are lovely, restaraunt was very nice,we had breakfast and that was very good(although i never got my egg!).
Not too sure about the swimming pool area, mrs thought it wasnt clean, the water very cold.
We went off peak,so wasnt too busy, weather terrible as well(not the hotels fault for that).
Went on ferry to Tarbert, was very disappointed, theres nothing to see and do,lots of places closed."
"Handy location for out journey from Shropshire to Skye. Room was pleasant, although separate to the Hotel, so a cold/wet walk to the main building for dinner/breakfast. Lovely view of the loch.
Food was disappointing. Whole menu was either gluten free or gf option. Turned out that was incorrect - and gluten free actually means removing gluten containing food from the plate. Very disappointing when most hotels have moved with the times and have realistic dietary options."
"Stayed overnight and had prepaid for breakfast. Went down when breakfast opened but there were many students staying and had formed a queue around the dining room. We didn't have time to wait as had to catch a particular ferry. Told receptionist when we checked out and was told "they paid too". Not impressed at customer service."
"The place is nice, however, staff loudly making comments regarding a convicted..... I don't want to use the word here.....lets just say a "disgraced Financier" as the media would say. Laughing and using positive language like "celebrity p********e"..... I found it extremely disgusting. On challenging use of the language in earshot of guests the response was equally as outrageous. One staff member freely excused it, for a reason I do not want to mention on public review as it is not my place to share the reasoning they gave. The fact they thought any reason justified talking like this within earshot of guests is absolutely astounding.
On reporting to proprietor I was met with a response of "OK so are you leaving then?" I then asked what his thoughts were on disgusting comments like this he said he will have to ask the staff if they actually said it. I respect the fact your first reaction is to protect staff, however, training on professionalism and standards is lacking. If you want to support staff support the correctly by providing correct training. "
"Our Dog was welcomed. Very friendly and approachable staff, our room was as expected clean and exactly what we required as being disabled, on the ground floor and a walk in shower. We had no problems getting there, and being there, staff were excellent and attentive,
Especially Gavin GM. Dale HM, and Pete the Executive Chef. Other staff were friendly and helpful too.
We had a great stay."
