"I stayed here for one night for my birthday just this past weekend. I was really excited as I am a HUGE fan of Gossip Girl and if you know, you know. However, I was genuinely really disappointed. One being that the floor was the floor so gross as if it hasn’t been vacuumed in weeks - and not only the floors but the shelves and the whole room entirely. The wallpaper was peeling off on all the walls, the curtain was broken so we couldn’t open the blinds, all the furniture in the room was ripped and very very outdated. Other than the rooms, the rest of the hotel was beautiful and definitely up to date which is why I didn’t expect the rooms to look the way they did. Would not stay here again."
"Our room was cleaned daily. Rooms are very basic and the television didn’t work. When asked the staff said there’s a lot of them that don’t work and they don’t know why.
The lifts for the lower levels (2-20) are HORRENDOUS! The systems kept getting overridden and usually only 1 lift worked with queues of people waiting. We spoke to a member of staff at the desk to see if they could help as we had 2 very tired children and we were met with a shrug and that there is nothing they could do and we could use the stairs! For a building catering for so many people the lift situation is awful and really needs maintaining better or having the whole system overridden. This was a massive let down for us in regards to the hotel."
"Great stay for our family of five including children aged 8, 10 and 13. Good sized family rooms. Bathroom is very small but clean and great shower. Air conditioning was a God send.
Good location for all we needed.
Friendly check in staff.
Great grab and go breakfast - the kids loved the pancakes, the yogurt and granola was delicious and the breakfast baps went down a treat. Really friendly staff serving this.
Only downside is having to pay to store bags upon checkout at $1 each cash only. Woulsnt be so much of an issue if you could use your card to pay for this as we had no cash."
"The property is beautiful and the staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. The walls are thin, however, so be aware you will likely hear your neighbor!"
"Clean, quiet, safe. Lovely staff. Housekeeping excellent. Central, right at 9th ave so tons of food options, especially going north. Would stay again."
