"Absolutely shocking experience - DO NOT STAY. We arrived for our booking to be told there was no air con and no windows in our room, but told it was possible to cancel for a full refund. We looked at the room and saw quickly that the fan was poorly quality and given there were no windows it would be impossible to stay. We were in the city for a wedding just 2 hours post check in and needed to now find new accomodation and change. The receptionist was incredibly unhelpful and said that it was our responsibility to find an alternative hotel and would not be able to use their facilities to get ready for the wedding and advised us to use the restaurant toilets as we “were no longer guests of the hotel”. After our embarrassing changing in the toilet cubicle antics we then had to find another hotel at great expense last minute, in the city, on pride weekend so prices were much higher! I understand technical faults happen, but the way we were treated by the staff was absolutely shocking."
