"The worst place I have stated since the late 1980's. Im sure this is a multi floor HMO. I'm not wasting good time listing all the issues. Everything wrong with it. No plus points at all. Only stayed 2 nights out of 3 I paid and moved elsewhere. "

I found Shoreditch Inn to be good value for money overall. It initially felt a bit out of the way, but frequent bus services made getting around manageable. Unfortunately, roadworks and an accident during our stay caused delays—clearly not the hotel’s fault, but it did affect our experience.
Reception staff were fine, but the standout was the chef. I usually avoid sugar, and the yogurt provided was fruit-based. On the second day, the chef kindly arranged plain yogurt for me, which I really appreciated. Despite a busy service, both the chef and server handled everything very well—thank you!
We stayed in a triple room which was decent, though there were a few issues. The room was quite cold, with heating that kept turning off. The bath was high to step into, which may be difficult for shorter guests (I’m 5'1”), so a safety handle would help. Additional towel hooks would also be useful. The shower gel bottles were very small, so we had to request extras.
Our road-facing room was noisy on Saturday night due to the pub. The area felt generally fine, but like anywhere in London, staying aware is important.
There are plenty of nearby food options, with Brick Lane and Spitalfields Market within easy reach. Overall, it met our needs for a short stay. I wouldn’t rule out staying again."
"Pros: the on-site staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean and as described, and check-in/out was simple, great location.
Cons: in the bathroom, the soap and shampoo dispensers had been watered down so were poor quality. The electronic lock for our room was malfunctioning and required us to twist a handle with sharp metal edges so hard, one time I had to do this, it cut my hand."
"The staff is really friendly and the price was cheap. Depending on a room location it might get loud at night with traffic outside a window and very thin walls and ceiling. It's good for a short stay"
"The room was looks like in the middle of renovation. Interiors and how the room was decorated was slightly strange. No double grazed windows so you can hear the noise outside quite loud. No blackout curtains. They were earplugs and eye mask for that. "
