"We loved our stay at Babel Belleville. Out of the tourist path but still easy to access the rest of the city (2 minutes to the nearest metro!) it is an ideal location for those who want a more authentic neighborhood experience. Our room was clean and beautifully decorated and we appreciated the gorgeous Babel toiletries. Our only complaint is that one morning a fire alarm went off - we rushed out of our room with a group of other panicked guests to the reception who didn’t even look up. We asked what was going on and whether we should be exiting and they said “I think it’s a test”. It was disappointing to not have been told this would be happening (if it was true) and to be treated with such nonchalance when we were still in our PJs and bare feet. Otherwise would definitely recommend."
"This is a super late review, but better late than never. My stay here was very pleasant, my kids loved it. The place was clean, cozy and at a super convenient location. The host was super accommodating and flexible. We will definitely rent this place again. "
