"This hotel is poorly maintained. The beds were uncomfortable. Sheets and pillows are old. A couple that stay in this hotel too, found bedbugs. The water had a sewage smell. I do not recommend the stay in this property. Definitely not a 3 star hotel. The location is unsafe."

"Pros: The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable. The view is spectacular. Neutral: The breakfast was average. No labeling and very few options for people with allergies. Cons: The property was under renovation so the lobby and all common areas were either off limits or full of dust and construction equipment. The noise of the renovations was very loud, lasting until 10:30PM one night. The staff were not apologetic at all. When the renovations are done and Hilton takes over the hotel...

A block and a half away from plaza de armas (tours/music/coffee shops/restaurants/callejoneadas) and there is a convenience store very close by (2-3 min walk). Access to cabs/uber in front of property. Daily coffee/water, has a mini fridge which 👍. Terrace has a cute view. "

"Anthony was fantastic and catered to all of your needs. The walled property is small but very cute, private, and quiet. The complimentary breakfasts were simple, yet hit the spot, including options of scrambled eggs, pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, coffee, fruit, juice, etc. The jacuzzi pool was also a nice amenity after a long day out in Centro. It was heated and serene. If you are looking for a party spot, I would consider someplace else. "

"The best thing about this place is the service and the hotel restaurant. It also has a large outdoor pool which is difficult to find in QRO. The mattress and linens were pretty bad, and there is no fridge in the room. Other than that, it’s fine. It’s close to the historic center and off a main access point, so it’s conveniently located. I wouldn’t seek Mercury Inn out again, but I wouldn’t be upset if I had to stay there once more. "
