"Divi Aruba All Inclusive has beautiful white sand beaches that you can walk to every day. The staff (bellboys, housekeepers, etc) were wonderful. However, it was built in 1969, and it shows in peeling veneers, and stained white leather couches. The slightly renovated rooms shown on their website apply to a select few and there is no guarantee you'll get a new room. The staff did upgrade us after complaining, to a SLIGHTLY newer room that still did not match the website. We were traveling as a group and while we all purchased the same gardenview room, all 3 couples were staying in vastly different types of rooms.
The food was clean and plentiful. I enjoyed the Italian restaurant. The remaining restaurants did not warrant a second meal there.
Please note: If you are younger than 50 years old, you will be a minority. Everything closes at 10pm...and you have no choice but to hang in your dilapidated room. This resort is tailored to old retired Floridians and that is the majority of what you'll see. If you're looking for a fun resort to hang with friends, unfortunately this is not it. However if you just want to lay on a beautiful beach in silence, this is the place. "
"This property is in terrible shape. My husband and I traveled every island and Aruba is one of our favorite repeat locations. We stay at off the wall properties like this and NEVER again. It is surrounded by garbage everywhere, there was NO ONE there and the bell man told us we were not allowed to use the front drive up to check in - there is NO WHERE to park until you check in. Do not waste your time here. Same money, go to /holiday Inn which is right on the beach, this one is too far. Also, as world travelers, we have never required to move a vehicle and drive around until the second person in the party checked in. Very strange and when you immediately feel like you are not welcome, you let others know, spend your money elsewhere. "

"Breakfast had a wide variety, everything was fresh, pool was great, great access to the beach across the street. Staff was lovely, I interacted with the managers and they were very accommodating. Really love the drink tickets in the afternoon along with fruits and chips. I would stay here again. The guys at the front was also very quick in getting a taxi for us. Room was clean."
