CC Beach Front Papagayo All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"Our experience in Costa Rica at CC Beach Front Papagayo was absolutely amazing! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Special thanks to Melody and Gabriel, who took great care of us during dinner and always kept the drinks flowing with a smile.
Five stars to the chef for the incredible variety of food offered every day — every bite was delicious! Overall, the entire hospitality staff that catered to us was awesome and made our trip truly unforgettable.
While the hotel does not offer nightlife or entertainment, we visited Coco Beach, which is about 25 minutes away, where there were several great restaurants and live musical entertainment. I highly recommend checking it out!"
"Great hotel. Immaculate room, great choice at breakfast, pools were lovely and the bar staff and selection were great. Views over the trees to the coast were exceptional and great for spotting toucans and passing monkeys.
Hotel is on a steep hill and golf buggy lifts up and down are available if mobility is a challenge.
We had a great massage in the spa and the desk for tours ecetera was really helpful.
On site restaurant is good. The main village is a taxi ride away for more choice. (Steep road and no pavement make walking a bad choice).
We LOVED being so close to the small beach (which dissapears at high tide!). Gorgeous walk down, beautiful small sandy beach and warm waters for swimming.
We were in a an 'interior' view room (for budget reasons) which felt quite overlooked by the road and the shop, so pay a bit more for privacy. There was also no comfy seating in the room (no room with the two double beds) . A more expensive room would probably have better seating options - especially those with balconies."
"We enjoyed our stay! Traveled with our adult children and their spouses. Beautiful beach with added bonus of manta rays swimming in the waves (they are safe and fun to watch). The pool area was nice with great bartenders and we enjoyed the poolside lunch service. Low key music and relaxing atmosphere.
Everyone was satisfied with the selection of food, nice buffet, omelet bar, only a couple of restaurants but offering a good selection. The Italian option is good, make sure to make a reservation.
Really wonderful staff, friendly and helpful. One of our members was tossed by a wave and got a bloody nose. Staff transported her to nearest urgent care and picked her up. Urgent care doctor was excellent. We appreciated their care and concern. Overall, good value for the price. "
"Good location on the beach.
Got Montezuma’s revenge from the water. Be careful. Food was good and plentiful but all vegetables and fruits were washed in water, ice cubes from water, “watered” down booze in the room and free drinks also were “watered”down. Spent 2 days in bed and bathroom. In a place that is 80 and 90 degrees everyday with high humidity it’s hard to navigate around not drinking or eating anything associated with water, not using ice. Minibar in room has can sodas and large sealed bottles of water which is fine but in all restaurants they graciously pour glasses of water to you at all meals and you end up taking a sip.
Costa Rica is a beautiful country with lovely people but it’s a 3rd world country. Be careful what you drink.
Grounds were lovely and pools were huge.
We were Costa Rica before in another area and had no problem. Heard the Gold Coast has some water problems.
Really nice spot with many amenities - be careful what you drink. "
