"Gorgeous location, friendly and helpful staff, and we loved the outdoor hot tubs! The spa downstairs is lovely, and the breakfast was also very good. The one downside was in the bathroom it was an open shower with no lip or raised area, so the whole floor got wet. As downsides go it was minor. This is a great location for reaching Diamond Beach/Jökulsárlón. "

This is not the fault of the hotel as a customer posted the review photo, but the hotel should remove it because we book this place with the intent of using the hot tubs that they ended up not having. It is a good hotel and would stay here again."

"The room was clean and quiet. Staff were friendly. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel. There is an amazing place just down the road for breakfast. And for dinner there are lots of restaurants all around. Not a lot of variety of shops just there but within walking distance. A very comfy stay. There is no parking. Do not park in the underground car parks. It's a rip off. It cost around 90euro just for one day. There is street parking a few streets away. The signs say P1 and P2. With EasyPark app it costs about 10 euros a day. "
