It's feeding time at the zoo! If you want to be reminded of some of the great animals our world is home to, you might want to pay a trip to Kristiansand Zoo, located 6.1 mi (9.9 km) from central Kristiansand. If you'd also like to explore some of the parks in Kristiansand, head to Meta Hansen Sculpture Park and Otterdalsparken.
"The breakfast was very disappointing. The strike by hotel and restaurant workers had an obvious impact on the breakfast experience;though we only found out on arrival, when at reception we were told that no hot food would be on offer. This was a major problem for my wife who has significant blood-sugar problems. The choice of low sugar foods was woeful with only two choices of fruit, both not classed as low sugar. The choice of cereals and pastries did not compensate for the lack low sugar staples such as egg, beans and bacon. There was no sign of any diabetic food nor any labelling of sugar content on what was available.
The room was not serviced for the week we were there but fresh towel were provided on request.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
At no time were we offered any form of compensation for the inconvenience and significant reduction in the level of service we had expected from this status of hotel.
( I assume an expected reduction in the cost to Expedia will be passed on to us.)

"Breakfast was great but a long way from the foyer and reception though the bar near these , being disabled would have orefered them switched around, lots of building work beingbcwrried out tor upgrades but not mentioned on booking "
"Oslo doesn't have the vibrant downtown that other Scandinavian capitols do, but that shouldn't detract from your experience. That said, the hotel is perfectly located, especially if you are in need of ocean access, which with Museum Island and Fjord cruises is a definite must. Also, plenty of dining options abound, and cool places like the Viking Planet are within a stone's throw.
The single laundry machine isn't exactly helpful, and can get log-jammed quickly with patrons. That is my only complaint really.
Here you get what you pay for, and at a decent cost."
"Très bruyant tard la nuit en raison de bars à proximité. Chambre trop chauffée (impossible à rafraîchir) avec grosse couette. Bref, nous n’avons pas beaucoup dormi.
Sinon, bon rapport qualité prix et bon emplacement. Personnes sympa à l’accueil."
