"The room service was terrible. Checked in and realised none of the shampoo, shower gel or hand wash was topped up. There was a bowl of half eaten strawberries in fridge from previous guest. Next day asked for room to be cleaned and they didn’t do it.
Reception staff was friendly and helpful and the management gave us compensation for the inconvenience. The self service laundry was great and reasonably priced. Charging 100 nok a night for a baby cot is a rip off. Good breakfast Buffett. Apart from room service nothing to complain."

Have to mention that there was a nation wide strike that definitely had an impact on the service we received.
Check in was not well coordinated despite the fact that the people were "marginally" pleasant(Antonio)....but emphasis on the marginally....Could be because the strike caused the staff to be probably overwhelmed and overworked....
Had a good dinner at the hotel restaurant and the gentleman that was behaving as waiter, bartender, seating host and maitre...was very good!!
The most disappointing part of our stay was the condition of the room....It was not good at alland certainly not what was depicted on line...
The carpet was filthy!!! the room was dated and needed a significant make over...
Expected more for the money we paid....
The best thing about this place was the location and ...when fully staffed I think the restaurant is very good....DJP"
"Check in and check out was very easy. The hotel is clean and very conveniently located. There is some construction going on (right outside the window of the room we had) and we were not disturbed."
