As someone who travels for work, I know the room attendants work extremely hard each day. I want to acknowledge and thank Jomel, who made sure my room was clean and comfortable!
I mention to management and others (last year) that the hotel has been in a steady decline physically. It’s definitely gotten worse! The rooms are in dire need of remodeling which I know will be an expensive and timely undertaking. Hopefully new ownership knows, understands and plans for this! The staff can only do so much with what tools and amenities are provided.
Jasmine (dim sum restaurant) is outstanding: service and food. But they need to be more attentive to pricing. I had to inform them that I was overcharged twice! Still, the selection and quality were great!
Lastly, I cannot say enough about the Club Lounge and the staff, many who are new. They make the guest (myself for sure) feel at home. Breakfast and the available choices are awesome! The cocktail hour has been reduced and the quality of food and choices have also gone downhill. Maybe the Exec Chef needs to be changed. Otherwise, an outstanding stay but due to staff!

"The stay was overall good. From check in to check out and free shuttle to the airport only one thing that was disappointing. Waiting an hour for my food when I made an order at the pool. Drink came at a reasonable time, but food never came. Lifeguard was finally the only one that checked on me when he noticed I was uncomfortable asking if I had ordered any food. He told the staff and then another 10-15 mins went by and then I just told the staff have the food sent to my room. Luckily the food was really amazing. I wonder if that’s why they made me wait. But outside of that everything else about the hotel was great."
"The resort is very nice, clean, and offers a variety of activities that guests can enjoy throughout the day. The staff are very welcoming and responsive to our needs, which made our stay pleasant.
That said, the experience could be improved by enhancing accessibility. Adding features such as a ramp at the entrance would benefit not only seniors and persons with disabilities, but also staff handling heavy luggage. These improvements could help reduce the risk of injuries and potential worker-related incidents. Installing motion-sensor lighting along pathways would also make nighttime walks safer and more convenient.
Food is an important part of any vacation experience. At Kilimanjaro Kafe, the dishes tend to be on the salty side. The bacon is often overcooked and would benefit from proper draining to reduce excess grease. Additionally, closer monitoring of the buffet—particularly the chafing dishes—would help ensure that food is consistently available when guests arrive, as there were several instances where we had to wait for replenishment.
On a positive note, kudos to the concierge team and the staff at Mogambo Springs for providing excellent service. Their attentiveness and professionalism were truly appreciated."
"I recently stayed at Henann Regency & Spa and found the overall experience disappointing.
From the moment of arrival, the reception lacked warmth and hospitality. The staff immediately requested the deposit without offering a proper greeting, welcome drink, or even a simple inquiry about our journey. These small gestures would have made a meaningful difference.
Upon entering our room, I took a quick shower and discovered that the drain was clogged, causing water to back up. Attempts to contact housekeeping were unsuccessful as the phone was not working, and my partner had to go to reception to report the issue. When maintenance arrived, he promptly attributed the problem to hair in the drain, despite the fact that I had not washed my hair.
We were then relocated to the adjacent room; however, the Wi-Fi connection there was consistently poor throughout our stay. It was only the night before our departure that a staff member informed us that certain rooms have Wi-Fi dead spots, including ours. If this is a known issue, appropriate measures such as installing Wi-Fi boosters should be implemented.
At the breakfast buffet, no explanation of the process was provided, leaving us to navigate it on our own.
The check-out experience was similarly unsatisfactory. The receptionist did not inquire about our stay and immediately proceeded to deduct a fee from the deposit due to a lost key card. When I requested a feedback form, her tone was discourteous, and she stated it would be provided"
