The property was beautiful, well maintained and exceptionally clean. There were magnificent lake views everywhere you looked. The food was excellent and the staff was wonderful.
Continental breakfast was very good. Parking was a problem but Anna gave us a great upgrade for our challenges. It's in a great area, two minutes walking from the Embarcadero that has the ferries to Isola Bella and Isola Bella. Grand classical hotel. Great staff, nice bar, outdoor restaurant, etc
We had the most wonderful stay. The Hotel is exceptional with fine interior design and art along with all the luxurious amenities. We stayed in a room with the most beautiful view of the lake. I highly recommend getting a room with a view. Our Breakfast and dinners were delicious, our room was spotless and pristine, the spa was super relaxing and the staff were Top Notch. We had the best time and recommend this beautiful hotel to others to enjoy.

Hotel Belvedere has a one of a kind island setting within Lake Maggiore. Our balcony view was terrific and so spacious. Windows all around made the room very cheerful. The experience alone makes this place unforgettable. We easily caught a boat from Stresa and were able to park our car right at the Stresa boat dock, so logistics were simple. Gorgeous trees and flowers in April and many birds singing; also, you have beautiful views of Lake Maggiore. This is a wonderful place for relaxing. Especially nice if coming from a wintry country! The staff at Hotel Royal was very helpful and they spoke English very well!
