The place seemed new or recently extensively remodeled. The continental breakfast looked good but all I had was the biscuits and gravy and that was good. The freshly ground coffee in the lobby was a very pleasant surprise. "

The bed was very comfortable, although, three pillows to a king sized bed is questionable in my opinion. Overall the room was clean. The floors could use an extra sweep. The bathtub/shower stall in my room needs replaced—it’s clear it’s been repaired several times, but the water was hot and the pressure was good. "The room was clean, though the shower could use new caulk. It was surprisingly quiet for the area. Breakfast was better than expected and included pre-made cheese omelets and waffles. Staff was very friendly! ( I think her name was Mary?) Perfect place for a low budget overnight stop. "

I had a unique situation where I was in need of a place to stay for rehearsals and a concert at the Clay Center, and I am extremely grateful to the front desk staff who were very accommodating with my under-21 check-in.
