"The house was under refurbishment and new ownership but this did not affect my stay at all. It is well placed for trams and rail links, and main roads. I was able to travel in from Chester area and around South Manchester without going into the centre of town. Lovely walks along the Bridgewater Canal and plenty of places to get a bit of shopping nearby. Very comfortable and well furnished, reasonably priced, a welcome change from hotel chains with no individual character. Would recommend."

"The property wasn’t ready when we arrived for 3pm, eventually ready at 5pm. When we arrived the fridge was not turned on so we could not refrigerate anything for several hours, the doors were left closed so when opened the fridge smelled awful & very unhygienic. Cutlery & utensils were rusty & in very poor condition. All the beds were broken in some way & extremely uncomfortable, no decent nights sleep were had by the 6 of us. 1 room had a burnt out extension lead. Dark coloured futon with...

"Room was fine for a quick stay over. All clean. Room was a bit tired, had a hole in the plasterboard, couple of loose fixtures, double sockets with only one socket working, but nothing terrible. For the price we paid for a quick visit to Manchester it was good value. In a nice area and got parked no probs."

"Hard to rate staff as we didn't meet any, but we didn't need to. Phone contact was excellent with check-in information provided by WhatsApp. It all worked perfectly !! Lovely room with plenty of amenities. We know Altrincham well but this is the first time we have stayed here - we would have no problem staying again if we need to. Because we were there on a Sunday night with an early start on street parking was excellent for us."
