Marriott situated in a compact community campus with private condos, private golf course, gas station a couple small shopping centers, super market. Beyond that is the ocean and lava. So have to drive outside of this. Marriott accommodating for pool-side loungers, snorkeling "

It is a little ways away from extra shops / restaurants, so would suggest renting a vehicle or taking an uber. The workers on the Gold floor made our stay welcoming and were super helpful.
