There are some amazing places to eat in Tyler. If you enjoy great BBQ go to Rudy's. Great home cooked food Daniel Boones has got it. There is always so much to do when you are in tyler from dining to shopping to everything in between.

We recommend people should come in spring for the Azalea celebration. Even though we were in town on a rainy day, driving around the Azalea district was so beautiful.

Tyler is the perfect blend of small town charm meets big city amenities. Tyler has great schools (colleges) and there is plenty to do to stay busy (if that's what you're looking for). The people are friendly. I love the small town feel of Tyler.

It has really grown. Truly a center for commerce and entertainment for this part of Texas. Proud of it and the area.

More laid back than in Houston. Tyler's drivers are little aggressive though. Watch yourself.
"The burger was very tasty. The beds were quite comfortable. The front desk folks were friendly. Wendy, who works in the restaurant was very sweet and helpful. "
"The stay was great. The front desk lady at check in was so friendly and welcoming. The only bad thing was the swimming pool. There was so much chlorine in the salt water that my two daughters new swimsuits were bleached. My 12 yo had a navy swimsuit which is now ugly gray and my 16 yo had a dark black and red suit and it is washed out orange and gray. I told the desk clerks when it happened and before check out and they said they would tell the manager. I hope it was reported and fixed."
