Interestingly the shower and toilet are part of the room, with frosted glass doors for privacy. Traffic was a bit loud but calmed down at night. There is a security guard posted through the evening/night. Our room had a view of Christ the Redeemer."

"I very much enjoyed my stay at Vila Galé! The staff were excellent from check in to check out, the property itself is beautiful in an old, but updated colonial property. I stayed in one of the apartments right beside the pool and terrace, and even while you were situated with a walkway outside the room, I felt safe and comfortable enough to open the windows wide and take a nap or do whatever within the room.
