"It’s a small hotel walking distance to Nijo station. There’s also a 24 hour ramen place and Kura which is a revolving sushi restaurant that is close to the hotel. "

"The area was quiet but close to 2 7/11 and across the st is a family mart. There’s also a pharmacy around the corner. The train is just across the street to go to Kyōto and another Randen train station is also across the st going to Arashiyama. The bus stop is also close by. Across the street is a Daiso and Seria. We would stay again. The place is a good location. "

"Lovely place to stay, a little out of the way of central Kyoto but still would recommend a stay. Washing machine in the room was super helpful, there's even a machine to get washing liquid capsules in the lobby. Walking distance to a launderette if needed for drying clothes. We got the address wrong on our luggage we had forwarded and the Rest Inn was able to call up and get it sorted for us. It was delivered within a few hours."

The place is centrally located, close to JR and metro stations. Close by there are plenty of shopping and dining opportunities, all very local. Communication with the ower was easy and responsive. Each floor is a separate room. Good WiFi. Many small paid parking lots within a block of the property. Many restaurants nearby. "

"This hotel is in the middle of two subway lines 6min and 9 mins walk and next to Nijo castle. The hotel does not have a receptionist full time. But they will gladly receive your luggages if you have them ship and alert them. But this mean you have to bring your luggage’s to the shipper for your con’t travel which could be a pain because most locations are a good walk or closed on weekends. The rooms are roomy, but lack of hangers , night stands , shower stall stool. The washer and dryer...
