Munich is so pretty. Loved all the activity. Felt safe. Lots of police around. European Cup was being played so there were excited fans everywhere. Easy to get around. Great food and drink. Perfect weather. Highly recommend taking a professional tour

We loved our stay! This is a gorgeous city with lots to do. We felt very safe here. I'd highly recommend doing a bicycle tour as you'll get around much easier - the English gardens for example are stunning but huge so cycling is the way to go.

Munich is a very friendly city. The excellent public transportation system means you can get around very easily with times and directions coordinated with Google maps. If touring a one week all metro Munich transport ticket is a good deal at €22.

Had an amazing time! Great cultural amenities, variety of excellent food options, beautiful scenery! Locals were friendly and helpful and kindly to my poor German language skills. I am a solo woman traveler in my seventies! Felt safe in Munich.

We love to visiting Munich. The public transportation is easy to navigate and use. Recommend booking a bike tour of the city with a visit to the English Garden. Our favorite beer garden to go to is The Augustiner, by the main train station.

We spent 3 weeks in Germany and found that Munich is by far the most vibrant and happening city in Germany. Young diverse and so many great parks and museums. Rent a bike and pedal around. Go to the BMW museum and the English Garden.

Dachau is a 30min train ride to the western suburbs of Munich. The concentration camp is a must to see. Once at the Dachau train station take local bus 726 to the camp. Warning the bus gets very crowded so you may wait 2-3 cycles.

I have visited multiple times. Munich is a city to return again and again. So much history and offers a lot to tourists in all areas of gastronomy, culture, history and otherwise. Came to watch games UEFA 2024 Germany.

I grew up in Munich (1970's) and hadn't been back since 1981. Very walkable city with impressive art and architecture. Absolutely love public transportation in Germany in comparison to the US.
"This hotel was fantastic, located within a 5 min walk from the train station it was great. The weather was so hot we ate in the restaurant in the evenings and the food was lovely. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or recommend "
"The service is fantastic and I love the quirky decor though the place was not as well maintained as it could be. It's steps from the train station so very convenient if you need that. Otherwise it's in a Turkish area which is fine but doesn't have the German flavor you may be looking for."
"Beautiful hotel, excellently location and wonderful staff! Ideally located by many of the big sights in Munich. Nice bar/cafe in the lobby we enjoyed in the morning and evening for a light bite, coffee or a drink. I fell during our stay (at a park), and the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating - helping to get my hand cleaned up, wrapped up and check to make sure I was ok. The spa area is wonderful - such a nice treat!! The room was a little tight, it would have been nice to have a little more space for suitcase storage/clothing, but it was really so nice and clean. "
"Right in the heart of the city, close to lots of restaurants. It is on a busy thoroughfare and close to the main rail station but as the building is set back it is relatively peaceful for a city centre hotel. second time we have stayed. We would recommend this hotel, "
