"Delicious breakfast - both buffet style and with a few other dishes you can order off a small menu. Room was super clean and the shower was fantastic! Definitely recommend this if you are visiting Cardiff - it’s 5 minutes away from the castle and 5 minutes to the train that can take you down to the bay. Everyone was so nice and it’s a good value for the money. Slight inconvenience- the parking is in a big city garage a few blocks away so getting your luggage to/from is cumbersome. But everything else more than made up for it!"
"August 2025
From booking on line, personal visit two days prior to stay to pay bill, check in, room, breakfast and check out and hopsitality has been excellent throughout. All staff I met at reception Wednesday 6th, Friday 8th and Saturday 9th, restaurant staff on morning of Saturday 9th and to the unseen domestic staff on floor 10 this weekend - Thank you for your efficiency and demonstration of excellent Teamworking within Cardiff Clayton Hotel and for my personal stay.
To quote Mr Arnolde Shwarzenegger "I'll be back" and will be promoting Cardiff Clayton Hotel and Hospitality Team to my family, friends, and professional collegues for a stay/Cardiff trip."
"Convenient for the show that we were going to @ the Millennium Centre. Very friendly staff & clean & comfortable room. Will use again in the future. "
"I absolutely love this hotel from the moment I walked in to waking up in the morning. Everybody couldn't do enough for you. The breakfasts were outstanding and the beds were fabulous. Not to mention the pillows which were out of this world. I need a set!!!"
