Would have given an overall 5-star review with one issue - I was checked in to my room and enjoying a drink on the veranda to recuperate after a long drive to Stresa, when ten minutes into my stay, the porter arrived and told me I had to move to a different room. "We booked Castello Dal Pozzo as a special treat to celebrate our first wedding anniversary.
The whole estate is just stunning, and the team was so welcoming. They gave us a lovely upgrade for our anniversary and were so accommodating for my coeliac disease.
The pool was incredible!
As were the views and, of course, the wine room! We would recommend taking part in a wine tasting ♥️🍷
