"Amazing location and a nice hotel overall but the service is pretty lacking. There was no “do not disturb” sign in our room and we went down to reception and asked them not to clean the room one day, they went in and did it anyway. The reception wouldn’t provide change for notes and made us use our card but had another till they were using to give change from the bar. You have to walk from the restaurant downstairs to reception any time you want to pay for anything. We pre-booked a taxi for 7.40am to the airport on our last day the night before but this meant nothing, they call the taxi on the day at the time you requested so we came down expecting our taxi to be ready and had to wait another 15 mins. Breakfast is decent but otherwise the food is very poor (bordering on inedible) so would recommend eating out. "

Rooms are dated and everything in room was broken including tv, balcony, door iron and safe. Told management but didnt really care
Spoke to General Manager Muhammed and he was worse than his staff. Told me he would give me a discount when i go back to hotel as if i ever would. He was rude an arrogant. The changed our room 3 times in 3 days which took hours to do but he couldn't see a problem with that. Rudest General manager iv ever encountered.
Pool area is nice with DJ playing but staff just dont care.
Im in Marrakech every year and its amazing. Arab culture is so welcoming but this hotel is the opposite.
Even every taxi we got in agreed that all they ever heard was problems with this hotel. No wander it has changed names 4 times in past 20 years.
Btw is fully under construction but in there true sneaky way they dont tell you.
Reception was full of people complaining and all you could hear around the pool area was people with issues with hotel.
This was not unique to me.

"My room was freezing cold. Unfortunately the radiator from 1920 didn’t work. The engineer made 4 trips with different tools at 11:00 at night but still couldn’t get it to work. I slept in my clothes. The shower was lovely but seriously flooded the bathroom with 3 inches of water. My chicken dinner at the Asian restaurant was undercooked which is a recipe for serious illness and rice was $15 extra. Not great value for your money. .the security was oppressive until I understood why and then it was much appreciated.
