We loved the Mansion suite - elegant furnishings and wallpaper, with a constantly refreshed "maxi-bar" full of treats. The Portrait Bar - open only to guests during the day - is a welcome respite while waiting for your room or taking a break from all the walking in the city. Especially high praise goes to the concierge, who was able to secure a reservation at one of NYC's notoriously...

"FABULOUS boutique hotel! Great location! Super clean, small bar on first floor and one on rooftop as well. Room was clean and spacious (for NYC). Most of the staff was very helpful, however, we asked one person about a taxi when it was pouring out and she told us to go to the corner to hail one. Overall, fantastic stay-highly recommend!"

"This BnB is exactly as advertised - a totally fine budget option. Shared bathrooms and no elevator but the bed is comfortable, there are closets with plenty of hangers in the rooms, the shower is hot with good water pressure, and the staff is very friendly. There is a shared kitchen downstairs with plenty of snacks and breakfast foods available, and there are separate toilets and showers on each floor, making for a lot of available bathrooms. And a great location. "
