"Hotel and staff are lovely. Ideal if you have a car. Thankful for free shuttle bus to station if you haven’t. Not much to do / see immediately around the hotel. But great location for seeing the bamboo forest. "

Our space was very spacious with two rooms and a large clean bathroom with the toilet, sink and shower/bath areas separate which helps when there are four in your party! We had a private garden to enjoy in the morning and although further out of town, there were a few bus options that worked for us and we would definitely stay here again if we found ourselves in Kyoto again.
