Kyoto is smaller and does not have the complex subway system to places like Tokyo and Osaka. Having these nearby was a life saver. "

Each floor is a separate room. Good WiFi. Many small paid parking lots within a block of the property. Many restaurants nearby. "

"This hotel is in the middle of two subway lines 6min and 9 mins walk and next to Nijo castle. The hotel does not have a receptionist full time. But they will gladly receive your luggages if you have them ship and alert them. But this mean you have to bring your luggage’s to the shipper for your con’t travel which could be a pain because most locations are a good walk or closed on weekends. The rooms are roomy, but lack of hangers , night stands , shower stall stool. The washer and dryer...

"The hotel rooms were the biggest we stayed in when we were in Japan and the staff were very helpful. The buffet breakfast was also excellent. The only downside was the location, which is a bit of a trek from the city centre."

Sanjo street is a nice walk also. "
