"We had a great stay at MIMARU Tokyo Shinjuku West! The hotel was clean, modern, and well-maintained. The beds were on the firmer side but overall comfortable. ​The location is absolutely perfect. It sits on the west side of Shinjuku, which we loved because it is a little quieter and more relaxed than the bustling east side, yet still incredibly convenient to the station. It's about an 8 mins walk. Pierston was very helpful at the front desk and all the other staff. ​Highly recommend this...

"washer, no dryer, nice balcony for hanging things. tub was excellent, no shower stool. nice little kitchen with dishes. tv was basic, no casting, no bluetooth. beds were comfy but have to crawl over one to get to the other. closet was big. very close to train station and right in the middle of the neighborhood. near all shops. great security. great location. "I love suburban neighborhood. Every time I stay in Tokyo, I visit new neighborhoods. It’s fun to walk along the river and see all the little cafés and coffee shops. It’s quite a change from the hustle and bustle of Shibuya and Shinjuku. It’s nice that they have Onsen with a sauna. The staff were very nice and helpful. "

"I've given a 5 star because it's a very quiet suburban feeling location. The room is small but we'll appointed. Close to restaurants, groceries, trains and walking distance to many main attractions. I one caveat I would put on the property is the stairs are steep, be aware. Also the pin on the Expedia map is in the wrong place."

"The Creston Hotel is such a hidden gem if you are looking to stay near all the Shibuya madness while also being near the calmer parts of the craziness. The staff were extremely friendly, check-in was a breeze. The breakfast was very delicious, with two options being offered (Japanese style and Western style). Would definitely be returning and staying here when staying in Shibuya!"
