"I came out to Long Island to attend a wedding reception in Franklin Square. The Garden City Hotel was close to the venue, so I chose this hotel for an overnight stay. The room was very neat and clean. The bed was so comfortable with a hard and firm mattress which is what I needed for my low back pain. The pillows were so soft and comfortable. "The hotel itself was alright. We got one of the remodeled rooms so it was nicer. There were no elevators so that was inconvenient when bringing luggage up and down. The toilets in the room don’t have a lid and the towel rack is right above so when you take a towel off, it almost falls in the toilet. The staff was amazing and provided excellent customer service. The location is great with lots of dining options nearby. Shampoo and conditioner could be better quality. "

"I stayed at this hotel a few times and it was always very comfortable very friendly. I love the location the class of people that stay at this hotel. I love not a bunch of low ice staff from the time I’ve gotten there to the time I left just wonderful just like my stay in the past Was great. Can’t wait to come back when I come up alone. I usually stay at the other Hilton, but I’m changing that I’m going to stay at this hotel from now on and pet friendly wonderful my dog loves it. "

family and was just happy to have a pool for them. When I walked in I was pleasantly shocked to see it looked like a cruise ship! Our room had two doors; one to hallway and one to the lobby area. The lobby had a glass ceiling and our room overlooked the pool. I do wish the pool was warmer and perhaps a hot tub would be nice! But overall we very happy and will Definitely stay at this hotel if we are ever back in the area. "

"Pros - bed was actually comfortable and ac worked fine Cons - property wasn't locked so anyone could access floor. carpet seemed like it was from the 70s with all accompanying stains did not want to walk barefoot. no mattress pad, stained bedding. couldn't close 'freezer' due to covered in ice, peeling wall paper and holes. shower was a jacoozi which meant to tall for my fiance to get in or workers to clean (when i got the shower on a few debris from previous guests floated to the drain). also...
