"Everything was excellent but be mindful if you stay in Cherry on the ground floor of the adjoining property as we had someone stomping about in the room above us for about an hour as we were trying to get to sleep approx 10pm not sure what they were doing, trying to get their steps in I think but you could hear every movement and also the television, shame as everything was great I don’t think I will ever book a ground floor room with accommodation about again"

"Great property. Nothing negative to say about it. The bar is a great place to unwind. Friendly staff. Our family room (with bunk beds) was spacious, clean & well appointed. Perfect location if you're starting or ending your day with a visit to Fountains Abbey as its only a few minutes away. Great place!"

"One night stay at this busy hotel. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant and were suprised how busy it was. A word of advice - if your room overlooks the rear of the hotel you can expect to hear loud noise from the kirchen extractor unit which runs from 7am to 10pm and if you're tired and want to slepp or have children beware"

"Great hotel in a good location for exploring the surrounding area. Parking was good. Beautifully clean and comfortable rooms, cool despite the temperature being more than 30 degrees. Enjoyed our meals in the restaurant (best choice of menu in the town) and lovely breakfast. Staff very helpful when we requested ice to help the foot injury my father had incurred earlier in the day. Thank you! Would definitely stay again and really liked Knaresborough town."
