"The rooms could definitely use some TLC. The carpet was stained. A floor lamp with a missing on/off knob. Wallpaper coming off the wall and the bed was squeaky and uncomfortable. The freezer part of the fridge was so full of ice you couldn’t put anything in it. On a good note; the bathroom was very clean, however, the water would only get warm. When we went for breakfast we were happy to see that it was very clean and there was someone there cleaning as people were getting food. The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly. In a pinch I would stay there again but not for what I paid this time.

We stayed at this lovely inn while celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful experience. The room was very clean and the whole place had a peaceful, quiet atmosphere—perfect for a relaxing getaway. It’s also in a great location, just a short drive or walk to downtown St. Joseph, which made exploring the area super convenient. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout our stay. The only minor downside was that the pool could have been a bit cleaner, but overall we had no complaints. We’d absolutely stay here again!"
