The sewage problem leading to beach closures is a real issue. We've been coming to Coronado for last 13 years. We are likely staying somewhere else next year as driving 6 hours from AZ to just look at the beach isn't our idea of a fun beach vacation

Definitely going back. Loved the ability to walk around and visit the many shops and beach. The restaurants (The Garage, Clayton's Coffee Shop) were fabulous. Great food, Great variety.

We absolutely loved Coronado Island with all it has to offer for a wonderful visit. We felt safe and secure walking to nearby shops and restaurants as well as the beach area durung the day and at evening time as well.

There are very few places on the west coast as charming as Coronado Island but the city has to absolutely figure out a water treatment plan. It is terrible that you can't swim at the beaches.

Coronado is very walkable. There was a good selection of shops and restaurants and a really nice beach. Midweek crowds were reasonable.

Coronado is lovely! Enjoyed walking around to the ferry dock. Very nice place to visit!
"The New York West restaurant was wonderful. We spent our $25 credit every day there. Jeopardy on Thursdays is Jeopardy night. Our gang of 10 loved it.
The area around buffet and bar reeked of vomit daily. They mopped with a dirty mop. Ugh. Our only complaint. The hotel was beyond expectations. "
"Very clean property, and great place to get away and relax! Firefly restaurant was delicious and is your go to for meals if you want to stay on site and play all day. The beds were just ok. I’m used to more of a pillow top feel. "
"Bartender!!! 10 outta 10
Housekeepers 11 outta 10
Late night front desk 12-10
Bed was amazing and pillows too!
Parking prices are crazy!
New cook , lacks attention to detail for the price.
I would wait longer for a plate I can eat vs a quick dish I can’t eat due to quality or noneddible additions
However this was by far the best stay I have had in this area over the last 2 years "
