Rockport is a north shore charming little town with a lot of gift shops selling all kinds of artwork and other crafts. There are a few nice restaurants and breakfast places. It's a pretty walkable town with friendly people and amazing ocean views.

Nice and quaint but most bars and restaurants close at 8 or 9 p.m. which is a bore when on holiday and the rain excludes you from doing much else.

We enjoy Rockport, though at this time of year it's a bit cold for strolling and not a lot of stores open . We were there for a concert at Shalin Liu, which is a fantastic concert venue.

"This inn was a find-we had never stayed in this area of Massachusetts. The inn was clean and quiet and the grounds were beautiful. It is close to the ocean (you can walk to a beach behind the property). There are many restaurants within a short drive."
