Winston-Salem is a wonderful city. We found driving around the city not too stressful. Many great restauarants and shops. We enjoyed fine breweries and an awesome distillery too. Enjoyed visiting Old Salem. Can't wait to visit again!

Wife is from Winston. Very art-centric city with plenty of unique shops and restaurants and a little history here and there, esp. Old Salem. A good place to do a day visit if you're passing through.

The people I met in the Winston-Salem area are so very nice. I went to Miller Park, which is local. Didn't realize how big it was and actually lost my vehicle. Wonderful lady came to my aid and helped me find it. Love the area, will definitely visit

Winston Salem is a mix. Lots of nice places and that seems to be spreading. Had a great pregame at the Insindiary Brewery downtown before the game and then Putters pin next to the hotel is a 10 with excellent food and vibe

Winston-Salem seems like a nice medium-sized city. There were lots of things to do. I suggest Tanglewood if you like nature. Taco Mama had great food at a decent price if you love Mexican.

Shops close early at 5:30pm. Very cute city but would have loved to spend more time shopping and we couldn't due to how early businesses close.
