"The room door lock was broken and hanging down off the door, TV did not work, holes in black out curtain because it appeared to be 100 years old and disintegrating.. The bed was surprisingly nice and the breakfast was better than i expected although still low quality just like every other cheap hotel. Did not see any bugs which is good. After unplugging the cable box I the next day I was able to get the TV working. Upon arrival I was behind another guest who couldn't get their TV to work so this is apparently a common issue. I brought my own Roku so i hooked that up as I usually do."

"This is a beautiful old hotel that has been redone. We had a two bedroom, two bath suite with living room and full kitchen for a very reasonable price. Expansive lobby and huge area for events. The staff was pleasant. We wish we were staying longer. "

"DO NOT STAY HERE - Bed Bugs, Roaches, and Refusal to Refund My wife and I booked a stay here last Saturday. We checked into our room, dropped off our things, and left for an event in Decatur. When we got back around 10:30 PM and started getting ready for bed, my wife—who is highly allergic to bed bugs—found a live bed bug on the queen mattress closest to the window. We immediately inspected the rest of the room and found a second bed bug, along with dark spotting across all three mattresses. It was clear evidence of either a growing bed bug infestation or unwashed sheets stained from previous guests. To make matters worse, we also found roaches in the room and noticed that the bathroom floors were severely rotted. The condition of the room was completely uninhabitable. We went straight to the front desk to notify them. While standing there, I checked recent Google reviews and saw several other guests complaining about bed bugs in just the last few weeks. We told the desk we would absolutely not be staying and chose to drive three hours home in the middle of the night instead. We were so concerned about bringing these pests into our home that we actually threw away our overnight bags and all the clothing we had brought with us. Despite all of this, the manager is flat-out refusing to refund our money for the stay. Avoid this hotel at all costs. The management does not care about your health, safety, or the cleanliness of their rooms."

"The outside conditions of the property needs attention especially the pool area. Last night parking was very limited due to some trucks and trailers were not parked over in the trailer parking area. However the rooms were clean and the staff were very kind and helpful."

"The bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. The cleanliness was concerning though. The bathroom had hair and dirt in the sink and shower, with a used washcloth thrown in the corner. The fridge was always off. You have to push a button to turn it on, but it only stays active for two hours then goes off again. I don't know if it was just my room, by the walls are "thin". You could hear people showering and talking next door and walking around from the floor above. Staff was super friendly though and breakfast was pretty decent. Overall, not the best but definitely not the worst."
