"Staff were amazing, room was great and overall stay was good. Only downfall i had was the room was way to hot. The little fan provided was just blowing hot air around. Air conditioning would be a good investment especially during summer. I would have booked another night but the room temperature has put me off booking again."

"The check in was excellent and Olga was delightful, really friendly and helpful. There was parking out the front and the room was bright. The breakfast was great as everything was cooked to order and plenty of choice. The hotel is quite old, but well maintained and nice gardens. Good location. The staff made our stay."

"We had a fantastic stay at The Barnsdale, such a beautiful, relaxing and picturesque venue. We enjoyed use of the spa, which is beautifully done, small and intimate. Evening meal in the Brasserie was delicious with fabulous service and breakfast was just as delicious, with lots of choice and was well organised. All staff were very polite and helpful, especially the lovely lady on reception. The welcome glass of wine on arrival was such a lovely touch. Only disappointment was that the king size bed was in fact two single mattresses pushed together, also the window wouldn’t open and so the room was quite warm. All that said, the room was clean, cosy and so beautifully decorated Overall though, our stay was so beautiful, and so so relaxing! Thanks so much for having us"
