"We did not have a good experience this time around. On our first day we complain about the shower not working correctly and or fridge was not stocked. Maintenance came out and did say shower was not working. They moved us room 455 to 855 with a horrible view. The following day the call us to the front desk and insisted we pay for a broken television and a crack phone. Wow! Mind you we didn't get into our room till 8pm. They told me and my wife we were to pay $500 US dollars or the police would be called to make a report and escort us off the property. We had 9 other family members staying there and didn't want to ruin our family vacation so im out $500. On top of that 4 of our group got food poisoning from what we narrowed down to the Japanese restaurant. I will not be staying on this property again and will not recommend it to anyone. "

"Very nice, would come again, got there early and was checked in to my room early no extra charge, and great rooms too. Food, you won't be disappointed, unless you like coconuts cuz there aren't any, I hoped for a station that makes juice smoothies, don't need the proteins whey or spirulina, just a blend of any of the wide selection of fruit available with water or milk would be so appreciated. And bring Pepto Bismol, not sure what got me there but I spent 2nd and 3rd day in the toilets. (Think my "medium" Arrachera steak since it was rare) Wife and daughter were fine with theirs. Staff, mostly friendly, sometimes bartenders looked like they had enough, and seeing how much they do, I would be moody too, just treat them well $ or $$, not ideal but you will get treated better and with a smile. Seaweed tip, avoid it if you can, daughter and I were fine and we touched a lot of it, my wife not so lucky, she still itching like crazy after 10 days now, there could be jellyfish tangled up or larvae. Arms and legs full of itchy red spots. Pools were a 3/5 unfortunately, mid March had some cool weather so we hoped for warm pools but nope, they rely on the sun to heat up water it seems, clouier days people barely went in, water was not warm, actually warmer in the beach. Even the various small pools with jets were cold, they looked like big Jacuzzi with bunch of jets but had same temperature as other pools. Don't know if broken or by design. Really fun entertainment, favorite part!"

"Horrible stay. Transportation from the airport was supposed to be included, but whey we arrived, it was not. Had to spent $150 to get to the hotel, and another $60 to the airport. On the first night, someone tried to get into the room at 1h30 am, and the next day, the reception called us while we were sleeping to say they wanted to come inside the room to change the lock. Eveything was very shady. The music is too loud, the shows at night are beyond loud, and bad. Food is meh. Staff is okay, but speaks only spanish. Overall hated this place."

"Just got back from a 5 night stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially for nightly diners for our large group, and drinks at all the bars. The food was really nothing to write home about, but edible. You must wear a wristband on this property and if you lose it or it comes off, you are required to pay $140 at checkout. This was definitely a negative for me, as I usually never wear anything on my wrists, was super worried about it, and can still feel it on my skin even though I’ve been home for over a day. The hotel itself was subpar, but we were told that this property is getting a total overhaul in a week or two, so hopefully it will look refreshed soon, otherwise I’d pass on staying here. There was a nice Cancun sign on a pier right next to the property, but we weren’t allowed to go on it to take a picture without being charged $3 per person (no way Jose!). A shame that the resort itself didn’t have some type of large letters to pose in front of as many other resorts do. The highlight for us was being able to attend the Riu Parties held at the Riu Caribe right next door (walk over) and have access to that resort, as it was much more modern and seemed to have many more amenities."

"We upgraded to a large ocean view room and honestly… highly recommend! 🌊✨ The view alone made it worth it. That said, All Ritmo Resort could definitely use some updates. The pool was missing quite a few tiles 🏊‍♂️ and when it rained, there were leaks coming through several windows onto the floor 🌧️😬. Food-wise, it could use a major refresh. Over the 3 nights we stayed, the kids’ options were basically the same every day—hotdogs, burgers, and fries 🍔🌭🍟—and the main buffet didn’t offer a lot of variety. On the bright side, Arturo at check-in was fantastic—super friendly and a pleasure to deal with 👏😊. There are also two convenient tour booking desks (one by the pool and one inside near the front desk), which made planning excursions really easy 🗺️. The boutique/gift shop is impressively stocked—you can find pretty much anything you might need, from souvenirs to medications to clothing and toys 🛍️🧴👕. The beach area is in a great location and it was always easy to find a chair to relax in 🏖️☀️. The water park is huge and a lot of fun for all ages 💦🎢, and we loved the underground walkway—super convenient and safe since you don’t have to cross any busy streets 🚶‍♀️👍. Overall: great views, friendly staff, and fun amenities—but definitely room for improvement in maintenance and food."

"Brand new property. Huge property. No beach really. Don’t come here for a beach option. Lots of food options however the only downside was reservations for evening dining was awful and limited times for thousands of people on site. "

"You will get tormented unless you do the “Orientation Meeting”. Called our rooms 8:30 and for 2 days until I disconnected the phone. This turned us off the very 1st day. Most staff are friendly but many aren’t into it. Bartenders are slow and have conversations between themselves when there are lineups. Be prepared to be spoken to like a child. Food is abundant but buffet is not great. Japanese restaurant"
