"Check in and check out was easy. All staff speaks English. Location is very nice and quiet, station is just a stroll away with the mall and ameyoko. 7/11 is about 3min walk. It’s very spacious for an apartment in Japan !! Will definitely recommend or book at the another Mimaru. "

"Superb location, right in the centre of Ueno with enough bustling yet with space and peace at the same time. Close to multiple train stations within 3-5 minutes walk, and Ameyoko shopping street! Many good restaurants around too. It’s very welcoming to return to this brightly lit hotel every day. Room was spacious for a solo traveller, bed was huge and comfortable. Staff were also really helpful and friendly. Would stay again!"

"About a 15min walk from Ueno, the hotel was in a quiet neighbourhood, and walkable to a lot. Very close to Nezu station which made getting around easy. Happy hour, and the cafe were nice for getting something to eat or drink. Rooms were nice, clean and bright with a typical Tokyo hotel bathroom"

The surrounding area is a paradise for eating and shopping. Ueno Zoo is 10 mins walk. Rooms are clean and impeccable housekeeping. WiFi is very good. Extra pillows available as well as extra bathroom amenities. On the 11th floor there is an open terrace for relaxing. Ueno station for Shinkansen is also 10 mins...
