"The swim up bar was a treat for us adult travelers. We also enjoyed the poolside buffet that had excellent menu options. The rooms were very elegant and spacious."
"Great location just off Paseo Montejo. Rooms very clean and staff is friendly. Great courtyard with several restaurants, grub, and brewery. Live music in the evenings. Shuttle service and double decker city tour bus on site. Enjoyed our week stent in Merida. "
"Everything and everyone is great at this hotel. Great value and excellent location. Staff is friendly and always willing to help. This was my second stay and I would definitely comeback when visiting Merida"
"Todo muy bien salvo que si se escucha mucho el ruido y más que me dieron la habitación. Que da directo a la calle y el bullicio de ahí en fuera todo bien y debería haber más papel sanitario en el cuarto"

"Breakfast was made on the spot and very affordable only $100 pesos for guests. Rooms
Were clean and minisplit kept room
Nice and cool. Place is super cute. 3-4
Blocks from the cathedral and shopping. Highly recommend the hotel. But I do have to say Merida is very hot. I would go again but in winter."
"Wonderful hotel with a beautiful pool and free Mexican breakfast. Would highly recommend this as a place to stay when in Merida. Only thing that wasn’t perfect was that tv was all Spanish and since it wasn’t a smart tv, had to watch news on iPad. Not a big deal as it was an amazing price for such a nice place."
"Wonderful tranquil place in the heart of Merida. Staff is very cordial, attentive and helpful; the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. Really recommended!"

Until now, I had not written a review of a hotel, and felt this time was important to do.
Cleanliness is very important to me and my husband, and our room was immaculate.
The owner was extremely kind, and went out of his way to help.
We had made reservations at the last minute, after having a negative experience with a vacation rental. It was such a relief, walking into Hotel Seranata, and be greeted with such positive energy.
We have traveled extensively; this place was one of the most incredible in all our travels. The attention to detail was impeccable, and the staff was kind, helpful, and friendly. We will be back and have recommended this place to many others.
We chose Merida Santiago Hotel Boutique based on overwhelmingly positive reviews. We were very satisfied. From the moment we arrived tired and hungry, co-owner Jan arranged for us to have a light meal, even though the kitchen was closing down, and then provided us with a thorough inspection of our room. The lovely couple who own the hotel, Jan and Rita, were friendly and gracious hosts. In fact, the entire staff was welcoming and helpful. We started each day with a delicious (included) breakfast...
Beautiful, well decorated room with high ceilings!! A huge window that leads out to a private balcony with small table and chairs. Room was on the 2nd floor. The bed was super comfortable and had handcrafted pillow cases and runners. The bathroom had high ceilings, beautiful lighting and best smelling lotion. Rain shower with a sweet smelling conditioner I fell in love with. Front desk people were super friendly and helpful. There is someone at the desk 24/7. Love pool and hammocks. Walking...
The location is key because it’s located right in Downtown Merida. Breakfast and coffee are amazing with lots of options! Staff are super friendly and helpful with activities anywhere within the city. For any travelers, this place is extremely SAFE!!!!! My wife and I will definitely stay here again!
We love this hotel!! Although we visit Merida frequently, this is the first time staying at Casa Tavera. We found the place to be a beautiful boutique hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was splendid with an amazingly comfortable bed. The pool was very inviting and the daily breakfast was delicious (try their horchata!). Casa Tavera will definitely be our hotel of choice on our future visits to Merida. Thank you to management and staff for a wonderful stay!
The Hotel Haciendo was our perfect oasis from the heat and pace of spending the day exploring Merida. The service was truly impeccable, and having breakfast available every morning was a great and delicious way to start the day. We would absolutely stay here again!
We loved Merida and Luz en Yucantan hotel. Our party of four utilized three different rooms over four nights. The room La Puesta del Sol room was noisy at night due to music from the park a block away even on week nights. Both La Perla and La Sombra rooms faced the pool and were quiet at night. The former had a large patio in front with table and chairs. All beds were comfortable, showers had hot water and the breakfasts were delectable. We were served coffee, a small pastry, juice, a bowl of...
