"The location was excellent, loads of history, the development of the site and apartment are to a high standard and there are plenty of good restaurants. Although car parking is available it can be a bit of a problem for people with mobility problems. However we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend this location."

"We spent 2 nights at the Edgecumb Arms for a family reunion. The room was superb, with great views over the Tamar. It was very well appointed. The English breakfast was delicious and copious and the staff was extremely attentive and welcoming. Bonus point - we were able to able to bring our dog. Amazing walks in the Edgecumb park which is one minute away or alongside the river Tamara. This was our second stay and will happily stay again in the future. "

"A hotel with a bit of history a stones throw from Plymouth Hoe. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The room was comfortable and although there are no lifts it wasn’t too much of an effort to reach my top floor room. Breakfast was freshly made with a menu catering for all tastes and requirements. there was a buffet breakfast available too. At night there is a bar which you can use instead of sitting in your room. Evening meals can be found in the area with a variety of restaurants...

"Fantastic location if you have any type of business in plymouth. Whether shopping , going to the Theatre or for business. Friendly staff. My only issue was the TV would not increase the volume and my planned evening ‘in’ was spoilt by this! Would definitely recommend and stay again. "

"Great location on The Hoe and fantastic to be able to park right outside. The studio is pleasant enough but feels soulless. There was no rug on the floor and it seems spartan. I moved the sofa a little which helped. Bathroom tiny but manageable. They expect you to take your own rubbish out around the corner and do your washing up. Makes me think I am reliant on the previous guests’ rinsing of cups. Bed linen and towels were good quality. Leaving tea and coffee and fresh milk in the fridge...

"The room was nice, clean sheets, free of surface dust, only downsides were dust behind radiator, and grout on tiles needed a good clean. Staff were very polite, helpful and friendly. It is within a 3 minute walk of Plymouth Hoe, and 10 minutes walk from the main shopping district, with plenty of restaurants and fast food franchises. Theres also a few good public houses also. Also a short walk to Plymouth ferry. Its a lovely part of Plymouth and theres lots to be seen and lots to do in season.....
