"Everything beautiful especially situated in a very nice Parisian neighbourhood. Just a walk down to the shops!! Only one small downside, the lift only fits one person with two bags. So plan early when you are leaving the hotel to the airport. If not you are in for a bit of a wait. Overall a very nice stay. Love the water and coffee machine at the bottom near the reception. "Ah, the classic Parisian hotel experience — and Hotel Ernest delivers it in full, for better and for worse. The photos look fantastic, and the hotel itself is charming enough in person. But if you're expecting the rooms to match what you see online, prepare to recalibrate. The rooms are genuinely tiny — even by Paris standards. Unpacking a large suitcase becomes something of a puzzle, and moving around requires a little creativity. That said, this is Paris, and central Paris at that. Small rooms...

"We had a wonderful stay! We are a family of three and the triple room had plenty of space, a big bathtub perfect for our little one and very comfy beds. The decor is adorable and well thought out. Breakfast was very good and the staff were so friendly. Conveniently located to both Gare du Nore and Gare de Est for trains and metro and area was quiet with lots of restaurants around. Highly recommend!!"

"We enjoyed our stay. Staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was lovely. The hotel is showing its age in places and the air-conditioning struggled with the heat but the room was comfortable enough. We had an early Eurostar train out in the morning so we couldn't stray too far from Gare du Nord, and especially in those circumstances this proved a good pick: well connected, fairly quiet neighbourhood, but some nice bars and restaurants in walking distance. Would definitely stay again."

"A great location for the Gare du Nord which is around 5 minutes walk away so a late arrival or an early depart makes this hotel ideal, small but clean rooms with a reasonable size and again clean bathroom, eateries close by so again ideal for a late Eurostar arrival."
