"Value and amenities doesn’t match the price Beautiful hotel with historical charm. Ideal for a daily visit/ tour or a very short stay. Some staff could be a bit warmer and more welcoming. Mattress could be updated for comfort. Patio could be maintained more. Also, would recommend candles for insects. The modern updates clash with historical charm. Lighting abnormalities in room. Water marks in bathroom ceiling. Bathroom shower not user friendly - prone to flooding bathroom. Overall a 3/5 experience in a beautiful and unique hotel."

"Room smelt horrible Room door lock broken wouldn’t lock Room and bathroom filthy No refund from hotel or Expedia. No offer to clean room. Told these are the rooms that are offered through Expedia cannot change rooms. I booked a different hotel at my cost and again no refund from the hotel or Expedia."

"This is our second staying at this hotel. The first time was extraordinary and that is why we comeback. This time, Unfortunately, our stay was cut short due to the condition of the room. The air conditioning ducts had a strong musty odor, not only smelling of dampness but also resembling the smell associated with mold or black mold growth. We reported the issue and requested a room change, but were told the hotel was fully booked. Instead, we were provided with a dehumidifier; however, it never reduced the room humidity below 75%, making us question whether it was functioning properly. To make matters worse, it was significantly louder than the air conditioner itself. After only a few hours in the room, my husband began coughing. We tried opening the room door for ventilation and running the bathroom exhaust fan continuously, but neither helped with the odor or humidity. By approximately 3:00 a.m., the conditions had become unbearable, and we decided to check out and leave the hotel in the middle of the night. We were very disappointed, as the room environment was uncomfortable and raised concerns about air quality and maintenance. We hope the hotel addresses these issues for future guests."

"This was a great place but unfortunately, a bright neon flashing light on the building outside the window showed through the curtains and was kept on all night. They also told a worker that our room was empty and we had someone walk into our room while we were getting changed. They were apologetic and we know it was an accident but it could have been prevented. The pool was great but the playground structure in the pool had mold and algae on it, which made me nervous that the pool wasn't being maintained and cleaned properly. Breakfast was great, room was comfortable, but they really need to address the bright unnecessary light that shines into the room at all hours."
