Second time staying there. First time a few years ago was amazing, but now it feels like they have regressed in terms of pleasure. At check in there were no one at the desk, the whole place felt closed. And after calling multiple times, someone answered and came running, almost unaware of someone checking in that day. The place overall is clean and some of the rooms are old but has a sense of style. But getting a room towards the street makes sleeping hard as its alot of noice. Overall its an okay place, but was disappointed as the quality and feel of the place had gone down from last time. It regards itself as a 4-star place, but i dont see it that way. 2-3 stars max. Its not that im not satisfied, just had higher expectations. When checking out, person working was someone proabably not hired by hotel as he referred to «a friend» not letting him know someone was checking out. So when doing so he didnt really know what to do. Keys were left with him and he said its okay. Just very unprofessional feeling to it. Signs outside hotel also impossible to find and if i didnt already know where it was i would have struggled to find it. 5/10 experience

Very pleasant stay

Very pretty old building, rooms are spacious and have high ceilings and huge windows. Service was great too. Close to everywhere, it’s right in the center of the city. Very pleasant stay overall!! The only problem is that the hotel is in the middle of the party neighborhood so if you are a light sleeper you may have trouble falling asleep.

Beautiful building inside and out in a really great location for this vibrant hipster-ish area. Very helpful and competent staff. The wonderfully renovated rooms seem to be getting a little bit worn, but I’ll take that over boring any day. Would definitely stay here again.
