This used-to-b- jail property turned hotel is truly a gem. Its neoclassical architecture plus the current Four Seasons’ vision indeed is charming. The highlight though certainly is the staff. Not only they are super friendly and also personal, a rare find.

We had a great stay. We noted it was our anniversary and they acknowledged it repeatedly. Great attention to detail. The property is conveniently located for walking and seeing the sights. I’ve stayed in a lot of great hotels during my travels around the globe and would rate this one of my favorites with “Le Bristol” in Paris and “Le Sirenuse” in Positano we travelled with the family, they put us in room 314 which was over the the new discovery of Justinians palace and nice view of Hagia Sophia which the kids loved. Best Concierge ever “Sabuhi Yavuzer” let him handle all your plans, also check in was smooth welcoming great with Onur and Emrah. We will be returning soon.

Hands down the best hotel in Istanbul esp w baby

We wanted to stay in the old city/Sultahnamet, but the issue we came across was that most hotels there are boutique and small. The bigger ones were on the other side across the bridge, but we wanted to be near the main historical sites. Four Seasons Sultahnamet delivered in ways we could not have imagined. They gave us early check in at 9 am, upgraded our room so we'd have more space with a baby, put a crib, basket of baby goods, bath towels, and rubber ducks for our baby without asking. Everyone acknowledged you whenever they saw you. The rooms were exceptionally clean and there's room service twice a day. They even notice little things you may need i.e. makeup brush holder. The beds are so comfortable that we got some of the best sleep ever. The staff is SO friendly. I could go on and on about this place! Plus, it was a 3 minute walk to the square where Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque are, so the location was perfect!
