The hotel is superbly positioned for visiting major sites in the Sultanahmed area of the city: the Blue Mosque, Agia Sophia and the Topkapi Palace, for example. The rooms are comfortable, there's plenty of hot water and the staff are friendly and obliging. There is a wonderful view over the bay from the top-floor breakfast room. Overall, our stay was excellent value for money.

A Delightful Stay with Great Value

My stay at Erguvan Hotel was wonderful. The hotel offers great value for money. The breakfast was delicious, with a stunning view of the sea from the breakfast hall. The bathroom was spacious and featured a bathtub, which was a nice touch.

The location was amazing, it was 5ibute walking distance from major attractions like The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Soul and other attractions. Plenty of restaurant options close by. The staff especially the owner was amazing, walked us through everything and all the options and guides. Would recommend buying the Bhoporous Boat tour from the hotel. We enjoyed our stay extremely, remember the hotel is old so if you ar looking for luxury this is not for you, but if you are looking for a clean, convenient and place right in the center of all attractions we highly recommend this place.

The property is run by Mr. Selim and his associates (one of which is Mr. Burhan). They created a family atmosphere and were helpful in every way they can. The property is run very smoothly and as opposed to other properties in the Sultanahmet area (extremely popular with tourists) the focus in Ergovan is on quality: no frilly decorations, and curtains. The focus is on service, comfort, and efficiency. Ten stars!
