Charming comfort

The hotel is comfortable, quaint, and charming. It is within walking distance to Taskim Square and all transportation. It is in a quite location, within a safe environment. The staff is very hospitable and nice, so they are always willing to help with the customers needs.

Generally accepted for a short stay (max 2 days) - The apparent main door is different with the reception so you need to ask for opening the door every time you gonna go to the room - There may be no elevator, be careful with your choice - The apartment needs service, some floors have no light and its totally invisible at night - Staff barely speak Eng. well - the towels and blanket are very old and washed many times so far. They were torn out - the fridge didn’t work - Internet has latency and was poor - The room are was not sound proof and can be hard to sleep at night - Down stair door make a loud noise while closing and shake whole apartment - Ventilation is noisy + good location to Taksim and Airport bus + tidy place

Pretty solid stay!

We enjoyed our stay. It's conveniently located just a few minutes walking outside of Taksim. The staff are attentive and present, even when returning at random hours in the AM. The Good: We had a room with a patio that was lovely and fairly spacious. The bathroom was clean, shower worked well and was refreshing. There was plenty of space, we felt safe and secure. The wifi worked just fine and there were great places to eat everywhere near us. The Bad: Our towels and sheets had some small stains that made us wonder how thorough the cleaning process was. While the bed was comfortable, we were sweating heavily the whole night - probably just because we aren't used to hot temperatures.

OK stay but could be better

Safe to say the hotel is due for an upgrade. Not sound proof. No lift. I first booked through Hotels.com for 4 nights and extended for another 3 nights thinking I would save money from booking directly through the hotel but ended up paying more $50/night; higher than hotels.com rate. The first room was big, on the 3rd floor (no lift! Had to take stairs!), area rugs needs to be washed. Internet was very interrupted, not working for couple nights. I asked to be transferred on the lower floor, unfortunately the people above me had the heaviest stomped, woke me up at 130am and kept their noise for over an hour- my sleep was certainly disturbed. Breakfast was 150 TL, but pricey for what was served. The housekeeping was very nice. The guys at the reception was nice too but they need to stop taking control of the air conditioning. Very close to Taksim square and metro. Lots of restaurants around the area. Area is Ok-safe and could be cleaner.

Très mauvais choix

Le pire séjour en hôtel que j’ai pu avoir. On est arrivées le 26 tard avec ma sœur, on s’est rendus compte que la chambre était au sous-sol sans fenêtre ni rien. On a demandé à changer la chambre mais le réceptionniste ne s’y connaît pas trop (il avait commencé que depuis 2jrs). On a accepté la chambre car nous étions fatiguées, le lendemain à 9h on fait la même demande et il nous a confirmé que y’a une chambre de libre mais faut attendre que son collegue arrive. Vers 16h, on rentre et on fait la demande, le réceptionniste dit que si nous souhaitons changer faut payer 10€ de +. Sachant que je suis claustrophobe (je lui ai bien expliqué que je ne pouvais rester dans une chambre sans fenêtre) rien aucune exception. A la fin il me propose une chambre single mais que si je souhaite changer fallait payer aussi le prix de la chambre. Donc payer deux chambre sachant que j’utiliserai uniquement une. Le jour de mon départ j’ai oublié des affaires à la réception, j’essaye de les appeler pour qu’ils me les envoient par taxi que je payerai moi-même (sachant que j’étais déjà à l’aéroport) il n’accepte pas, en me disant je les garde et vous pouvez les récupérer quand vous revenez en Turquie - même le chef d’escale lui a parlé (en turque) mais rien. Aucune assistance. J’ai dû envoyer un taxi pour me les ramener. (Même le chef d’escale m’avait dit il ne veut pas vous aider). Sachant que je suis étrangère. Ils sont nuls. Je déconseille fortement. Ils ne donnent pas d’eau. Aucun nettoyage...

When I arrived to the hotel, I was informed that there was no electricity - the lights were not working and there was no WiFi. The receptionist was unclear when the problem would be fixed and, to be honest, didn’t really seem to care. I left the hotel and booked another place. I expected to receive a refund because, what the hotel promised in terms of amenities/WiFi, it could not deliver. However, my refund request was rejected, because I didn’t purchase the extra coverage charge, which I think it pretty ridiculous since the place did not hold up its end of the bargain. So be warned.

Notre réservation correspondait à la chambre du sous-sol. Celle-ci était propre et correct, le seul bémol le bruit de la réception qui est juste au dessus de la chambre. Si vous avez un sommeil léger, évitez cette chambre !!
