You get what you pay for, and that’s not a bad thing. Room and hotel were clean, service was great, location is fantastic. Walls and doors are paper thing, so expect to hear most of what’s happening outside in the patio throughout the day - if you’re a napper, don’t expect much. TV didn’t work but I didn’t bother asking for it to be fixed as I didn’t need it. No safe in the room, which was a little strange. Wifi is not great, but it’s good for basic surfing. Nice and quiet at night with no issues.

Loved staying at the Happy Express. The staff was excellent and very helpful and friendly. Rooms are nice and clean and beds are on the harder side which I like. AC works well and you get woken up by a lot of birds that come to the courtyard. We'll be back!

This is a great, simple option for travelers. The room was comfortable, had TV and AC, and was clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and quick. My only wish would be to have a bedside lamp in the room - the only option was the full overhead or a super dim bulb above the bed not bright enough for anything.
