The property is nestled between the sea and the main walkway into Oia. Stunning views from every direction. The room was well appointed with an outdoor whirlpool above a shared pool (we pretty much had the pool to ourselves as it was the last week the resort was open). The temperature was perfect in the whirlpool and the pool was very brisk depending on the time of day, but refreshing! The hotel gave us pool/beach towels and we liked that the cleaning team left a couple extra to have on the loungers. The room had a great view out to the sea and points of interest like the lighthouse and small chapel. The sunset was a daily ritual! The rest of the property was beautiful with amazing vistas and sweeping views to the sea and peaks of Oia along the rocky slopes. Very close to Ammoudi Bay we had a wonderful sunset dinner looking out at the bay. The restaurants at the property were all delicious. The stand out every morning was the breakfast buffet that had so many options it was difficult to choose! Cappuccinos and every style of egg imaginable! We also had lunch by the main pool at the bar. The deconstructed spinach “pie” as a salad was inventive without being too dressed up. Good wine selection too. Everyone was very friendly and seemed to always enjoy a little conversation without being too intrusive. Pauline did our nightly turndown service and had a little treat for us whether it be tea, chocolate truffles, a welcome bottle of wine or a lavender sachet for a departure gift!
Hot tub after a long day of exploring was a great way to relax before and after dinner!

From the moment I arrived at Santo Pure, the reception team was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, setting the tone for a wonderful stay. The room was beautiful and well-designed, though I did notice a bit of drainage noise during the night. Closing the bathroom door helped, but it was still somewhat noticeable. Other than that, everything else was outstanding — the pool, jacuzzi, and overall setup were perfect. The staff checked in during my stay, which I really appreciated, and the breakfast offered a great variety with excellent service throughout. Overall, the experience and service were excellent, and I would definitely return.

Let me start by saying the property and rooms are beautiful. The restaurant staff, house staff and bellhops are excellent and very friendly. The front office staff leave a lot to be improved. We unfortunately had a room with a very strong sewage smell and having called maintenance it was no better. I travel often and know that such things happen at hotels and present an opportunity for service to shine for their guests. In this instance there was no respect given and we were treated like we were an inconvenience to them. We eventually were moved to an alternate room but with no apology or acknowledgement of the inconvenience. It is a shame but reinforces how poor management can ruin a beautiful resort. I would not book again

After an initial hiccup, we were upgraded to a suite in Santo Mine which was exceptional. Our concerns were addressed in a first class manner and the transfer was quick and seamless. All staff are excellent - difficult to fault any of them. Atmosphere lovely, views fantastic, sunsets exquisite, all the small touches carefully thought through and beautifully. This is quite a place which we’d highly recommend.

Amazing views and property! Loved the private hot tub and spacious suite. Loved the location, 5 minutes via footpath to Oia. Great sunset views. Dinner was good but took super long to get the food. Hotel was overall good but we had several issues with staff that were not up to par. They ignore “do not disturb” signage and come into your room whenever they want/need. We were in the room hot tub balcony and they came in, before leaving the room they locked us on the balcony. We tried to call the front desk and room service several times but no phone number listed worked. Upon check out we were also forced to provide them with a credit card (this is the 4th time mind you that they have used and charged this card)
