Istandul Stay

A little confusion about check-in time in the beginning, but the hotel very kindly sorted that out. The apartment was clean. We could leave the key at reception for the room to be cleaned during our stay also. Air conditioning was very good. The staff were always available and extremely helpful. Arranged airport transfer at a very reasonable price also. Thankyou very much.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staircase is very steep, so exercise caution! Faruk was extremely kind and helpful, always ready to offer a cup of tea. Right upon arrival, he sat down with me and went over a map, providing transit options and walking times for each of the major attractions as well as some recommendations for food and places to visit. He also loaned me an Istanbul card so I didn't have to buy one for the tram, just had to refill the fares. The location is at the bottom of the hill under Sultanahmet, so it was close but a little uphill. Taxis can't enter the narrow street to reach the door, but it's close to a wider street and not far to walk. The neighborhood was pretty quiet and felt safe.
