I dont usually write reviews but this hotel is absolutely the best. The people who work there are the kindest and sweetest I’ve met. They were super nice and accommodating and made our trip definitely more special. It felt like home and the rooms are spacious. Its also located in a very nice trendy yet quite neighborhood and few minutes away from the metro. Highly recommend, I wouldn’t think of any other hotel :)

Dosh is very well spoken manager and addresses very politely, rooms surprisingly are very quiet comapred to the area where its situated at, though am sure on weekends its would be buizzing, however sound proofing is not bad. Short walk tonistiklal but mind it, its an uphill walk for couple of minutes. Suites are amazing, nice color choices, very clean and pleasant. Toilets could have been better but the small kitchen and dining area overcomes that shortfall. Definitely a good choice

Our stay at Ansen suites was quite disappointing. We were given room 110 which didn't have a functioning AC. It was awkwardly located near the entry and didn't cool at all. The bathroom door knob was broken and couldn't be locked from the inside. Also, the bathroom had a foul odor coming from somewhere and was made worse due to the lack of a dehumidifier. The inside shower didn't have a door either so you would get the water spraying on the bathroom floor outside. Despite us complaining multiple times and them promising us to send a technician to fix it, no one showed up and it was all broken during our entire stay. We were also promised a different room but nothing happened on that front either. The breakfast was quite average too. The coffee tasted burnt and the variety in food could have been much better. We were stuck there as we had already paid in full but we ended up checking out a day early. Given that we paid almost $150 a day and it being rated a 4 star hotel, we had a 2 star experience.

Lift and stair issues

The biggest suite is on top of the last level the elevator/lift can reach. Meaning that you will have to walk on stairs. If you don’t want to climb any stairs, make sure you ask the staff before you book.

Great location, lots of coffee shops and pubs nearby, about a 5 minute walk to start of Istiklal. Ibo, our night time concierge and his counterpart in the morning are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are big and clean. Looks a bit more dated than the website pictures but everything is functional. No cold A/C because it is wintertime but we are able to open the windows. Set breakfast is available every morning and can be eaten at the dining hall downstairs or delivered to your room. We would come back and stay in this hotel if we go back to Istanbul!

Place was pretty meh. Rooms were huge and staff was very nice, but it didn’t feel like a hotel at all. The front desk was literally just a desk at the back of a pub. Furniture was very shabby and not in the best condition; hotel had no amenities. Overall the place is fine but for the price there was a lot to be desired.

Great short-stay at the property for 2 adults & 1 infant. They took great care of us by answering a lot of our queries. Good location, being a few minutes from the historic Pera Palace Hotel (which is well worth having a drink in). Large pleasant room. Friendly staff, who fixed a problem with the air conditioning. WORST HOTEL EVER VISITED

We had to book at the last minute for this hotel. We have chosen the economy room. After arriving, the person at the reception mentioned that the room was on floor -1. This is unusual, this should be mentioned on the website. After getting our keys we went downstairs heading to our room. The room door was open and seemed to be used and not cleaned. Therefore we decided n to to use the rooms and gave the keys back though we had no chance to cancel the room.
