"Nothing in the area, even a convenience store! You have to take the shuttle back to the airport. Towels were very thin, and not plentiful. Food in restaurant was much better than expected."

"The staff was very nice and accommodating. I was able to use the room from 10am - 8pm which was fine for me with my midnight departure. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend the hotel for a longer stay. The room was very basic, but clean. And be aware that the hotel location is in Terminal 1 at Rio (GIG). T1 is closed, all flights go in and out of Terminal 2. There is a free shuttle between, but you have to call the hotel and ask for it. "
